Take the Xi'an Simo YR series (IP23) three-phase asynchronous motor YR355M1-4 as an example. "Y" represents an asynchronous motor; "R" represents a wound rotor type; "355" indicates the center height of the motor (in mm); "M" is the code for the frame length; "1" is the code for the core length; "4" represents the number of poles of the motor.
The YR series (IP23) three-phase asynchronous motors are general-purpose wound-rotor three-phase asynchronous motors, which are newly designed and updated products of Simo Motor. Their power ratings and installation dimensions comply with IEC standards. The enclosure protection level of the motor is IP23, the cooling method is IC01, and the duty is continuous (S1). They are suitable for places that do not contain flammable, explosive, corrosive gases and are relatively clean.
The Xi'an Simo YR series (IP23) three-phase asynchronous motors can provide a large starting torque with a small starting current and can adjust the speed within a certain range. They can be widely used in the following situations: 1. A larger starting torque than that of squirrel-cage rotor motors is required; 2. The capacity of the feeding line is not sufficient to start a squirrel-cage rotor motor; 3. The starting time is long and the starting is frequent; 4. A small-range speed regulation is required; 5. They are connected as an "electrical axis" for synchronous rotation, etc. For example, in machinery such as compressors, sugar presses, textile machines, hoists, wire drawing machines, and conveyor belts.
The YR series (IP23) three-phase asynchronous motors have the advantages of high efficiency and low noise. The motors comply with the technical conditions of JB5269 (H280), JB5270 (H315-355) for YR series (IP23) three-phase asynchronous motors.
The YR series (IP23) three-phase asynchronous motors adopt Class B insulation. The rated voltage is 380V, the rated frequency is 50HZ, with a △ connection method. Six (for H280) or three (for H315) outlet terminals are led out from the terminal box. The structure and installation type of the motor is IMB3 (the frame has a base foot, the end cover has no flange, horizontal type), and all are of the non-lifting brush structure. The altitude of the motor operation location does not exceed 100m. The maximum ambient air temperature varies with the season but does not exceed 40℃; the minimum ambient air temperature is -15℃, and the average maximum relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%, and at the same time, the average minimum temperature of that month is not higher than 25℃.
When starting the Xi'an Simo YR series (IP23) three-phase asynchronous motors, a starting rheostat must be pre-connected in the rotor circuit. It is not allowed to directly short-circuit the rotor winding for starting.

- When placing an order, please first refer to the product catalog to determine the model specifications and other data of the required product. Try to select the standard specification products listed in the catalog. Please indicate the motor model, power, speed regulation, voltage, frequency, noise, and installation type in the order contract. If the noise level is not specified, it will be supplied as level 2.
- For 2-pole motors with a power of 5.5KW and above and 4-pole motors with a power of 38KW and above, belt drive cannot be used.
- If there are no special requirements, the default parameters of Simo Motor are: the installation method is horizontal B3, the insulation class is Class B, and the protection level is IP44.
- If there are special requirements, such as double shaft extension, reverse terminal box position, reverse rotation of the shaft, requirements to be made into a wet tropical type, outdoor anti-corrosion type, or others, they need to be clearly indicated in the contract and contact our factory in advance.
