- The Xi'an Simo ZDT2 series DC motors can be installed in relatively harsh environments. However, the correct cooling method and protection level must be selected to keep the interior of the motor clean.
- The cooling air of the ZDT2 series motors should not contain gases such as acids and alkalis that can damage the insulation and commutation performance of the motor.
- The ZDT2 series motors are suitable for use in wet tropical regions, and the ambient air temperature should not exceed 40°C.
- The power supply for the ZDT2 series motors can be a static rectifier power supply or a DC generator power supply.
- When the motor is powered by a static rectifier power supply, the number of pulsation waves of the rectifier should not be less than 6. At the rated base speed, rated voltage, and rated load current, the peak ripple factor of the power supply should not exceed 10%, and it is allowed not to connect an external smoothing reactor.
According to the standards of GB/T4942.1 and IEC34 - 5 "Degree of Protection Provided by the Enclosure of Electric Machines", the protection levels of the Xi'an Simo ZDT2 series DC motors are IP23 and IP44. According to the standards of GB/T1993 and IEC34 - 6 "Methods of Cooling of Electric Machines", there are three cooling methods: IC06, IC17, and IC37. The standard form of the cooling air inlet of this series of motors is at the driving end (non - commutator end) of the motor.
The installation types of this series of motors comply with GB997 and IEC34 - 7 "Designation for Construction and Mounting Arrangement of Electric Machines". - The basic excitation mode of this series of motors is separately excited. The excitation winding has four terminal leads, which are divided into two groups. When the two groups are connected in series, the excitation voltage is 220V. Other excitation voltage levels can be agreed upon when placing the order.
- The short - time overload capacity of this series of motors: the overload capacity at the base speed is 2.5 times the rated current, and the overload capacity at high speed is 1.8 times the rated current.
- The allowable current change rate (di/dt) is up to 200 times the rated current per second.
